HP Panthers Finish 2nd, Qualify 59 to 2010 (AAU) Jr. Olympics

High Point Panthers RROAR, success at the 2010 NC (AAU) National Qualifier. The Panthers finished 2nd out of the 39 teams to compete for the team championships. Of  the 62 members that competed 59 members qualified to compete in the 2010 AAU Junior Olympics to be held July 31-August 7  at Norfolk State University located in Norfolk Va. The top four finisher in each event qualified for the Junior Olympics.

Brooks & McRae: Medals at 2010 Indoor Track Championships

Shemiah Brooks: a sophmore at Southwest Guilford took a 2nd place finish in the triple jump with a jump of 37’-05” @ 2010 NC High School 4A-Indoor Track and field championships held @ UNC Chapel Hill. Cameron Mcrae: a senior at TW Andrews finished 3^rd in the shot- put with a throw of 51-06” @ the NC High School  1A/2A/3A Indoor Track and field championships. Other Panthers qualifiers for the NC State Indoor 1A/2A/3A/4A Track & Field championships were.
